Since receiving our 501(c)(3) designation in September 2017, SFDP has represented thousands of immigrants in a wide variety of immigration-related matters.
With a 99% success rate on completed cases, we continue to fight for justice, protection, and dignity for immigrant communities in New Mexico and West Texas.
Cumulative Legal Impact (2014–Present):
5,437 total legal cases opened representing individuals and families
2,980 DACA and advance parole applications
321 applications for naturalization and citizenship
449 family-based immigration cases, including removal of conditions for spouses of U.S. citizens
293 humanitarian protections filed, including VAWA, U Visas, and T Visas
179 Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) cases
525 asylum-related matters, including direct representation, appeals, bond/parole requests, and Title 42 advocacy
Hundreds of general consultations and services (green card renewals, work permits, address changes, etc.)
